Denise works at the Institute for Social-Ecological Research (ISOE) in Germany and is an associate of the Non-Timber Forest Products Exchange Programme (NTFP-EP) in Asia and Center for Development Research (ZEF) in Germany, working with indigenous peoples and local communities. She is enthusiastic about the 36×36 network in order to discuss with like-minded women about alternative economic approaches such as Manfred Max-Neef’s Barefoot Economics and its application to community forestry enterprises and nomadic pastoralism.
