Catalina co-founded Civic Wellbeing Partners to lift up promising practices and drive leadership for wellbeing. She advances local action through programs like Wellbeing Microgrants, and works toward building a wellbeing economy centering people, planet, equity, and democratic control. Previously, Catalina was the City of Santa Monica’s community engagement coordinator, building relationships, using data, and advancing racial equity. She has developed civic engagement programming, connecting university students to city officials, dialogues about democracy, and service to community. A Southern California native, Catalina attended University of California Santa Barbara, grew up in North County San Diego and lives in Los Angeles.
