She also founded Bayanihan Innovation, an idea lab for divergent and social impact-driven ideas. Carla is also the COO of Workbase Philippines, a learn-to-earn job platform, where you can learn online skills and find a gig and reimagine work.
In 2019, she brought Climathon by EIT Climate-KIC, a climate solutions ideathon from the UK to the Philippines, and led the very first Climathon in the country starting with Pasig City which she also brought to other cities in 2020 and is growing a sustainable ecosystem to drive climate action and implement solutions across the country one city at a time.
In the middle of the pandemic, she was part of Stanford University’s Stanford Rebuild – Innovating for a Post COVID-19 Future, where she worked and collaborated with innovators and change-makers from all over the world to come up with ideas and possible solutions to reimagine organizations, reinforce healthcare systems, reinvigorate human well-being, and revitalize the workforce.
A disruptor, positive deviant, and change-maker she speaks her mind and provides a platform for leaders, innovators, and change-makers through her podcast called “ A Dose Of Intensity” where she features people and organizations who have a mission to address local and global issues on education, climate, and human rights.
Her mission is to empower and bring hope to the underserved through sustainable, impactful, and innovative ideas and actions in order to scale and bring ambitious change to the world.
