
Xinlin Song is an independent consultant and a network builder based between New York and China. Combining her specialisms in research journalism, urban studies, and community building, Xinlin has been weaving community networks within China and beyond since 2009. Her work focuses on forming cross-sector and Glocal collaborations to create meaningful dialogues that ignite social change. A belief in “diversity in culture but unity in nature” has always ensured her projects delivered through successful collaborative efforts, contextual understandings, and creative strategies.
Since 2009, Xinlin has facilitated creative collaborations between institutions, corporations, and policymakers in China and beyond. She has contributed to highly successful campaigns for clients such as TEDxShanghai, Beijing Design Week, China Academy of Fine Arts (Beijing), Smog Free Project (Studio Roosegaarde), Yunhe Centre in nature education and community development, Open Heart Design Alliance and Davos Blockbase series during the annual Davos World Economic Forum. She is also an advisor to AMO’s Countryside, The Future, a global research project currently onshow at the Guggenheim Museum, New York.
